Juliet, by Anne Fortier

What a guilty pleasure!  A reimagining of Romeo and Juliet as if it were the true story of the couple's historic counterparts told in letters and journals, coupled with a modern day mystery spiced with an adequate amount of romance, suspense, family squabbles and intrigues, and travel lore.  The mad monks and thugs in tuxedos were perhaps a little over the top. I certainly want to go to Sienna now.  Cassandra Campbell did a fabulous job with the reading.
