The Unfortunate Decisions of Dahlia Moss, by Max Wirestone

One of the reviewers said if you're not into gaming or massively multiplayer online role playing to skip this book altogether.  Maybe she's right.  I think Wirestone presumes a level of knowledge of the language and mores of the gaming community.  In any case, I was sometimes at a loss to understand what was going on or what the characters meant.  Dahlia Moss is hired to investigate an online theft, which results in her involvement in a murder investigation..
