This is the last book in the Deborah Knott series. To make up for it, Maron offers readers a present -- the love story between Deborah's parents, bootlegger Kezzie Knott and well-bred, well-educated Sue Stephenson. While Deborah searches out the answers to an old family riddle, her husband Dwight Bryant investigates the murder of an old enemy of Kezzie and his sons. I can't wait to see where Maron will go next.
