Gotta love Brad Parks and his creation, the indomitable investigative reporter, Carter Ross. Ross is tipped off to a New Jersey neighborhood where people are falling ill in droves. He is a little sidelined by a developer's murder that no one seems interested in investigating, but his network of diverse sources helps him link together all the residents of this nasty can of worms.
