I enjoyed this book quite a bit and am sorry that there is no opportunity for it to become a series as it seems might have been intended. Chickie Starr runs a hotel on the west coast of Ireland, and this book centers around the visitors during its opening week and Chickie and the staff who run it. The background, hopes and heartaches of each character is traced until his or her arrival at the door, and the healing effects of the environs and good food and caring are relayed.
