Listening to the readings of Alexander McCall Smith's No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books by Lisette Lecat is always a pleasure, a creature comfort. Dishonesty and greed are wreaking havoc with Mma Romotswe's friends and colleagues: Fanwell is arrested, Mma Potokwane is dismissed, and Phuti Radiphuti's contractor is not on the up and up. Solving each of these problems will require all of Mma Romotswe's best efforts, as well as help from an old friend whom Mma Romotswe and Mma Makutsi finally meet in person.
