Seattle Sleuth, by Alexandra MacKenzie

This isn't a great book by any stretch, but it was a fun way to cap off the Seattle Ghost Tour and Underground Seattle Tour.  The book takes place in Seattle in 1921.  Philip Shaw, a still-grieving widower and World War I veteran, is offered a job by his brother-in-law to investigate the death of a Labor-leaning newspaper editor.  With help from Ray Taylor, a young crime reporter, he uncovers all kinds of political and other reasons why several someone's might want the publisher dead.
