Driven, by James Sallis

Like Drive, Driven needs to be read in a single go.  It's way too hard to keep track of what's going on and who is trying to kill whom in stop-and-go conditions.  Poor Driver still can't get a break.  More people are trying to take him out.  Their motives are as unclear as those of the people who are trying to help him out.  His past haunts him, as does the danger he brings into the lives of the people he cares about.
