Few of the regular characters make an appearance in this book, as it takes place largely in Dallas. Eve Dallas's first collar, the violent pedophile Isaac McQueen, escapes from prison and seeks revenge. She must return to the city where she killed her father and the memories it invokes to recapture McQueen and his partner.
