Night of the Living Deed, by E. J. Copperman

A little bit Topper, a little bit The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and similar to Alice Kimberly's The Ghost and series, but Copperman add her own personal touches to a cozy mystery with ghosts.  The ability to see ghosts is shared by the main character, divorced guesthouse owner and queen of all that is DYI, Alison Kerby; her nine-year old daughter, Melissa; and her mother, Loretta.  The ghosts, Paul the PI and Maxie the Jersey Shore girl, are entertaining.  The mystery might be so-so, but Copperman is quite funny.
