Saving Cecil, by Lee Mims

Geologist Cleo Cooper is hired to consult on-site for a fracking operation in North Carolina.  Can that be good?  Even before the body is discovered?  And Cleo's decades long feud with local law enforcement reignites?  Wasn't bad, but didn't compel me to look at the two previous books in the series.
