Nora looks compulsively for the reasons that her loving husband, Brandan, took his life. Not only is she not getting any help from his colleagues in the police department of Wedeskyull, New York, or from Brandan's family, but they seem to be putting up roadblocks at best or threatening her at worst. A reporter and a autistic man who seeks to understand emotion by recording it seem to be her best bets in furthering her efforts to understand Brandan's last days. Suspenseful, readable, improbable.
