Who'd a thought a 20 year old murder could stir up so much trouble? During the LA riots, Bosch and his partner have less than an hour to process the site of a murder of a foreign journalist before they are called off to the scene of another death. Now in the cold case squad, Bosch has the opportunity to finally investigate this death and nobody, including his new boss, really wants him to. But it's just not that easy to stop Harry Bosch when he's on the case.
