Murder in the Art, by Bill Crider

Light, entertaining, a brief return to Blacklin County, Texas, where Sheriff Dan Rhodes investigates the deaths of the owner of a large stinky chicken ranch, and an old fisherman, who has been known to engage in noodling, a really dangerous kind of fishing.  I wondered if Bill Crider's community college colleagues recognize themselves in the goofy community college faculty in the book.
